Those invited to the General Assembly include all members of IMO committees and representatives from IMO affiliates across the world. The Board of Directors will announce their findings, budgets, and tentative plans and financial arrangements, on which the Assembly will vote. All future IMO plans must be approved by the Assembly, and all leadership positions will be appointed through elections by the Assembly.
